Dear Parents,
Did you know that there is a direct correlation between the number of books read to a child and the child's reading success? Reading aloud to your child is one of the best ways to help your child become a strong reader. Here are some other reasons to read aloud to your child:
We would like to encourage you to participate in the Read @ Night program. A blank calendar is posted online or a hard copy can be provided to you in order to track the reading done at home each day. For each day, please write down the title of the book you read with your child. This calendar is signed and sent back to school for a "Book It" reward at the end of the month.
Help your children learn to love reading! Happy reading!
**A blank calendar can be found in the Documents & Forms section of this website!**
